About Me

I have been a practicing psychotherapist for 25 years.  After receiving my MSW from Columbia University in 1996, I started my work at a community mental health center, where I had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people ranging from ages 4 to 80+.  During that time I completed my training to become a Certified Psychoanalyst.  For almost 16 years I have focused on my private practice working with adults and couples struggling with a variety of issues including infertility, depression, anxiety and relationship issues.  In addition to my practice, I am on the faculty of the Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies.
